Enjoy a tour of Historic Fort Snelling from the comfort of your own bus! Bring a bus from your community center or adult facility and one of our costumed staff will ride with you during the tour, giving a detailed history of the site as well as sharing stories of the people from Fort Snelling's past. The tour route explores the restored 19th century stone fort as well as the “Upper Post” where soldiers were stationed during the 20th century.
  •  Reservations are required
  •  $10 person ($2 discount for MNHS members)
  •  Tour lasts approx. 1 hour (last tour starts at 3 PM)

Along the way, you will meet a costumed character who will step on your bus and talk about medical care at Fort Snelling during World War I.
Make sure to stop by the Visitors Center where you can watch the short film Where the Waters Meet: Stories of Fort Snelling. Seating is available if your group brings their own lunches.
